Leslie celebrating Ray's 70th year of being on this earth!
In
September of 1953, I started dating Raymond (Bommy) Welch.
We dated for two years and on October 1, 1955, three months
after my graduation from John Bapst, we were married.

Leslie
is escorted by her future husband,
Ray Welch, to the ever famous "Senior Prom."
By
February 1960 we had three sons, Raymond, Jr., Timothy and
Richard. Ray worked at Darlings Auto and I was a stay at home
Mom. In December of 1961 we moved to our new home in Hampden
and stayed there until 1971 when Ray took a position with
American Motors in Massachusetts. After we moved to Massachusetts,
I held various office positions in companies around the Worcester
area.

I
would like to tell you a little something about our sons and
how very proud I am of their accomplishments.

Ray,
Jr., resides in California with his wife Kathleen Gaines and
their two sons, Brendan, 17 and Patrick, 14. Ray, Jr. graduated
from the University of Maine and is Gas Portfolio Manager
for Pacific Gas and Electric Co. in San Francisco. Kathie
is Senior Graphic Designer at Fair Isaac.

Tim
resides in Maryland with his wife, Elizabeth Molloy and their
eleven-year-old daughter, Katherine. Tim is a graduate of
the University of Massachusetts and Catholic University of
America School of Law. He is a lawyer and owns his own law
practice and specializes in telecommunications. Liz is a lawyer,
also, and works for the federal government at the Federal
Energy Regulatory Commission specializing in hydroelectric
dams.

Rich
resides in Massachusetts with his wife, Rebecca, and their
two children, Sydney, 7 and Timothy, 5. Samantha, 22, Rich's
daughter by a previous marriage, is a 2004 graduate of Boston
University and is living in Boston. Rich graduated from Worcester
Polytecnical Institute and holds the position of Vice President
of Worldwide Customer Support Services for a software company
in Waltham. Rebecca is a stay-at-home Mom and volunteers her
reading expertise at the local grammar school and on the radio,
reading the newspaper for the visually impaired.
In
December of 1985, the job that moved us to MA, moved us again,
this time, back to Maine where we spent the next 14 years.
I worked in Newport in the credit office of a nationwide electrical
wholesaler. After retiring in 2000, we moved back to MA and
we are now living in Uxbridge. I am enjoying retirement and
keep busy with my three hobbies, sewing, knitting and Tole
painting.
Ray
and I will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary in
the year 2005.
