Denise Hachey

Following graduation I moved to Gardiner with my family and was employed by the State of Maine in Augusta for 3 years.

In 1958 I married David Ketchen from Old Town and we moved to the Boston area where he was stationed with the U.S. Navy.

After his discharge he was employed by the W.T. Grant Co. managing several stores in the Massachusetts area for 12 years.

In 1971 we moved to Winthrop, ME. and purchased an existing Hardware store which we converted to an Appliance and Electronics business in 1974.

We've been married 47 years and have 3 children, Scott, Michael and Brian. Also 4 grandchildren, Julie, David, Mitchell and Michaela.

Our 3 sons now own and manage the Business since our retirement 5 years ago.

We live in Merritt Island, FL during the Winter months and our Summers are spent here in Winthrop.
